The permanent magnetic coupling shows a bucking characteristics in case of an overload. It is suitable for higher torques and due to the accordant orientation of the magnets it can be used in indexing applications. The hysteresis couplings show a smooth and sliding characteristics in case of an overload. Using hysteresis material results in lower transmittable torques compared to “PMK” and it creates thermal energy while slipping.
PMK - Permanent magnetic coupling with clamp hubs
- For shaft diameters from 3 – 44 mm.
- Compensates radial shaft misalignment at low restoring forces.
- Continuously adjustable by the overlap depth of inner and outer part.
- Very good for being used in packing machines, pharmaceutical equipment, food industry and more.
- Torque range 1,2 - 60 Nm.
HMK - Hysteresis coupling with clamp hubs
- For shaft diameters from 3 – 44 mm.
- Compensates radial shaft misalignment at low restoring forces.
- Continuously adjustable by the overlap depth of inner and outer part.
- Ideal solution for stewing process and winding applications.
- Torque range: 0,1 – 5 Nm.
